About Maz

Hi there, I'm Maz Malakouti (full name Maziar Malakouti) and I’m a marketer, media buyer, and consultant who has had the privilege of working with incredible teams and founders, both directly and within some of the most successful growth organizations in DTC. Before launching my freelance career, I served as Head of Growth at Easy Street Brands, a portfolio of 7- and 8-figure brands, where I led strategy and execution to drive measurable, profitable results.

Previously, I was also a Senior Director of Paid Social at MuteSix, one of the leading DTC performance agencies of its time. Those experiences sharpened my skills, deepened my passion for eCommerce, advertising, and marketing, and taught me the value of combining creativity with data-driven execution.

At my core, I care deeply about business, relationships, and the people I get to work with—always aiming for one goal: winning together. Outside of work, I enjoy staying active, playing basketball, strength training, rucking, hiking, or spending time with family and friends.
